She appeared on their first album, The Jefferson Airplane Takes Off.

Like Grace Slick, she had a powerful voice; a commanding presence. Grace's voice had more of a sensual, and mystical quality.
Anderson left the group because she didn't trust the group's manager, and was also married and pregnant. She didn't want to tour anymore.

This is one of her best songs:



I consider their first album to be on a par with Surrealistic Pillow.
