Hot Tuna - Jan. 1972 - Whole Show - San Francisco

&feature=share

This was one of the 1st shows they did live after recording "Burgers" in Dec. of 71. The album that made me a life long Hot Tuna fan....

A couple years after the Airplane, but Hot Tuna was clearly the band the got the Airplane off the ground.

It's a 2 hour show, so I'll I'll notate what I really like on this show.

8 minutes in, a Blind Blake cover, That'll Never Happen no More". Papa John Creach is at the top of his violin game with Jorma and Jack.

Btw, I think Sammy Piazza is the drummer.....the perfect style to play with the band.....

17 minutes in -"Candy Man" - just perfect acoustic/electric live.

On edit...for whatever reason, my Google Music breaks this link, but one extr mouse-click gets you to the music.
