I’ve seen them dozens of times in their formative years as they are from around these parts … I’m a little old for the bar concert scene … but I’ve been to Cat’s Cradle since their 1st location, their 2nd and their now venue in Carrboro many many times.
Luckiest show was Townes Van Zandt to a small crowd shortly before his death …
Wasn’t a sellout by any means, but it made a nice cozy intimate scene

and decided on an individual basis … the venue for tonite’s show is more of a dance hall, with some booths, but mainly a dance floor and bar scene … I’m in a college town and even tho it’s out for the holidays, there is a townie population and the venue attracts a younger crowd usually … more power to them

Am I too old ? For this time, for this show, yeah … maybe an acoustic show with a performer I’ve longed to see for the 1st time ..
