But ever since I heard about Clapton being an idiot about covid, now I know he's kind of been a jerk about politics too, so I don't click on his music anymore. Hopefully he'll pass before I do so I can listen to so much of his music that I love. It's just the way I am

But, I understand you on this.
I guess I can make myself see it as over 50 years ago.
I'm not at all happy with him, either.
Besides, we did this as hosts of jam nights. There was a local guy that loved singing it, and he wasn't bad. Our version was closer to the Domino's version, so I have that added fondness for it.

You should admit he has an extensive, eclectic and varying catalogue and repertoire … I listen to it all. Some of his lesser known compositions are very, very fine. Some not.
