I think I must have watched it 50 times. IIRC he was starting to exhibit some symptoms from AIDS and his doctors had advised against hm doing this show.

The long haired guy playing guitar is now a "Sir".

The music of Queen snd Freddie Mercury still is played today. In films, current TV commercials, TV shows.

Rami Malek NAILED Freddie in his Oscar winning performance. The recreation of the Live Aid concert in BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY was spot on. I need to watch it again snd the music of Queen gets me through my 3 plus mile walks.
