Great 2h 44m documentary on Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, streaming, free

With ads. So it'll be well over 3 hours with the ads. But it's well worth it, if you're a fan of their music and haven't seen this already.

It's a 2014 documentary:

Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young - Fifty By Four: Half A Century Of CSNY

IMDb page: https://imdb.com/title/tt5645172/

You can find it on both the Roku Channel and on Tubi. You can watch both online, at https://therokuchannel.roku.com/ and https://tubitv.com/ - you don't need a Roku device to watch what's available on the Roku Channel.

This is a very long documentary, tracing their careers from the Byrds and Buffalo Springfield through the Freedom Of Speech tour with Neil Young in 2006 and the CSN tours in the next several years.

There is a lot here about the conflicts as well as the reunions. The solo albums, the duo albums, and the side projects, most notably Manassas (that section of the documentary has footage from the Manassas appearance on German TV's Beat-Club, some of which I've posted here). There's a lot of footage I hadn't seen before, and some stories I hadn't heard before. Plus commentary by pundits, not all of which I could agree with, but the commentary's a fairly small part of this, overall.

If you're a fan of these great musicians at all, you'll probably enjoy this documentary.

nice thing about this is not even needing a Roku device. Though I think people will have to register (which is free) at either the Roku or the Tubi link I posted.
