When we got the news just over a year ago about Gary Brooker's death, I posted an OP here with Bowie/T.Rex producer Tony Visconti's memories of first hearing that song, which he said literally changed his life: https://www.democraticunderground.com/103470529 .
It was a factor in his taking the job Denny Cordell offered him and moving to London, where he worked with Bowie and Bolan. And with Procol Harum.
I ran across video of a 1968 performance of the song and posted it a few days ago at https://www.democraticunderground.com/103496465 .
