Yesterday while visiting a cousin in Ashland KY he took us to an old time drugstore in Kenova WV. Kenova (and Ceredo) is where my dad grew up. The drugstore has their original soda fountain where we ordered cherry cokes, phosphates and milkshakes. My dad loved big band music. It was wonderful to be riding yesterday on streets that my dad must have traveled in his youth and wonderful to hear this lovely music today that I’m sure he listened to when he was a young man. I’ve been especially missing my first family these past couple of weeks… Thanks for posting.
