...in the process of re-recording the song, if possible.

I get a T-Rex vibe from this, with some uptempo accents.

I hear a simple double-time drums groove with conga-like percussion.

I do remote drum/percussion recording, just in case.

I'm going to start re recording this week. Definitely need some percussion. I'm going to put a bass line on it too Once I get a decent version down with a click track I'll let you know the BPM and send you a copy. If you are offering some rhythm I humbly accept. I'm pretty poor so I can't pay much.

I'm in the middle of relocating my drums and I'm getting a new computer/daw from a friend, next week, I think.

Hopefully by the time you've re-recorded, I'll be ready to go.

I'd be using my Roland TD20-X electronic drum kit. It has a very natural/acoustic drum sound, so it won't sound like "fake drums."
