This set is a few from our bike and hike to teh Acropolis of Polirrinia out side of Kissamos.
There are Roman ruins all over it, walls, cisterns, and some building bits.

It is beautiful to see flowers spreading over the ruins.

Love the way the flowers cover so much of it with their vining and leafy growth.

They can grow of hillsides. Goats and sheep can forage where the trees are unharvistable or won't grow productivity. There isn't much flat area. What there is seems to be cultivated intensely. Roads are narrow and winding.
