The June/Spring photo contest ... moving pictures ...

I have been shooting moving pictures, learning video editing software, tending to foster kittens, tending to many other things, etc.

I could upload a single frame for the contest but it goes against my photographic ethic. Here is a short video that was taken in the spring.

with video. Not enough time in my life to get good at it but I should know a little about it.

It's just a matter of learning the editing software. The techniques and tools learned using photoshop gave me a big head start. Having an understanding of layers, color correction etc. are all basics that gave me a leg up. Starting from scratch would have made the learning curve much steeper. Go for it.

Although I much prefer shooting stills now, I'm available for questions if you have any.

Good luck with the video. Which software are you using?

I'm spending more time with video because my wife and I have been doing kitten rescue for almost 20 years and posting them on the youtube.

I am not sure if it is this software but am having trouble doing things with subtitles and scrolling text. Just something I'll have to figure out.
