I haven't posted anything in this group for awhile mostly because I used Photobucket and when it went to crap I couldn't really find a hosting site that I was comfortable using.
I'm trying to learn the ins and outs of Flickr but still haven't figured out how to post just the pic and not the url. Anybody give me a hint?

4. I currently have Flikr

But the free site . Limit 1000 images. It does okay.
I am looking for a site that will handle more. And still provide a url address to post to various places.

5. I've been using postimages.org

As long as you leave the image on the site, if you put the url for sharing (direct link) it displays the image and is there forever.
If you delete the pic off the site the link will not work.

As a matter of fact, I took a screen shot of the sharing dialog, uploaded it to the site and am sharing it now


Right click on the image above, chose open in new tab/page and you'll see the full size image with the url in the address bar.
