Agios Nikolaos, the towards the east end of Crete. Some what protected from the worst tourism.
This little lake is a freshwater spring that flows almost directly into the ocean. The restaurants, and hotels have gotten larger but the
ambiance around the lake is about the same as it was 40 years ago.
Sometimes you get lucky with an action shot.
Walk out at sea level or climb the stairs...
