I have an old favorite of trees, and now that you think trees like this are landscape I may enter it. I wonder if it has to have mountains and broken down stuff like Bluedigger's photo.

Friends: I'm just clowning - it's election night, and I'm nervous.

flexibility to the definition of landscape.

Not crappy, this one, just degenerate, broken and sad.
Give it a bit more dimension i.e. crisp shadow, and I call it a winner. I do. I really like this one a lot.
