I watch the clouds and colors develop from my living room. If it looks like it could be a beautiful sunset--like tonight turned out to be--I grab my camera and go outside. I heard the geese honking before they came into sight. Geese regularly fly over my house and a flock of them frequent the retention pond behind my house. This was the only shot I got of this group, which flew on by the pond.
