And some whales came pretty close and I got some pictures like that. Also the volcano started puffing out smoke, Augustine iI think it was. I love Alaska the most beautiful place I’ve ever been to.

This was our third trip there, and our second cruise. In 2016 we drove the Alaskan Highway to get there, a nine thousand mile round trip from Los Angeles.

4. We booked two whale watching excursions.

These images were captured from the upper decks of small whale watching boats. We also booked a bear and eagle excursion, but it was cancelled due to a rock slide. We still managed to find a couple of wild brown bears. More photos to follow.
