(9,853 posts)they start crapping on your porch or try to break into your house looking for food. i have to be vigilant about keeping my doors closed. but, yeah, i love them.
one day i was out photographing them from the concrete walkway around my house (the forest starts just meters away) and with me standing right there, a couple of them walked right by me and were looking in through my screen door to see if there was food in the house (i guess) and then this happened...they were so close to me that they were almost within the closest focusing distance of the nikon 500mm PF lens.

(90,762 posts)Well, maybe a little. Otherwise, my husband might get cranky.
Joking aside, I could go a long time in the company of critters and not miss humans.

We actually see few boats on the lake ever. Sadly.
I think more boats up by Fortuna

(28,816 posts)Not Catholic but parents sent me to different Christian Bible schools every summer. It made me less of a believer each year.
In 1975 we wanted to get married outside. We could find only one Methodist that said okay. All the rest said married in Church or god wouldnt be there.
But God was, right there at that outdoor wedding!!!
Edit to add: God had a great time.
