7. Nice photo and a very nice place to visit.

Knew a group of folks (Brooks Bird Club) who started a bird banding station there years ago. Not sure if it's still there, but it was known throughout the birding community.

9. I happened to be camping there when BBC was banding in September of 2017.

The group occupied most of the campground's sites and they invited me to observe. I got to watch the setting of mist nets before dawn and the subsequent banding. The station is still there. Here are photos of a black throated blue warbler one of the club members was banding.
