Golden ginkgo leaves

I stopped to take a cellphone-camera photo of these ginkgo biloba leaves on my walk to market.

A favorite leaf and tree of mine stretching back to a time decades ago when I acquired a handful of saplings with the goal of turning them into bonsai (it never happened).

3. Nice photo. I've always loved Ginkgo trees. My city planted some as "street" trees a few years ago..

.....and I've always looked forward to and enjoyed how they lose all of their leaves at once and create a big "puddle" of those pretty leaves at their base.
