A favorite leaf and tree of mine stretching back to a time decades ago when I acquired a handful of saplings with the goal of turning them into bonsai (it never happened).

.....and I've always looked forward to and enjoyed how they lose all of their leaves at once and create a big "puddle" of those pretty leaves at their base.
