(14,890 posts)There were a bunch of robins in the back yard "pecking" in the snow. I've never seen anything like it. I wanted to take a photo, but I'm sure they would have looked like a bunch of dark blobs.

But most of all, it's the stark beauty of it all.

(3,409 posts)from a stroll; the temperature is in the low 30s, but it is a bit uncomfortable due to wind gusts up to 20 mph. If the wind quiets down it will be lovely. Love your photos, thanks for sharing. That poor little Robin!
