Sculling Down The Arno

This was taken Thanksgiving week, 2021.

It is one of my favorites from this trip to Florence.



This one is from June of 2018. Almost the same spot!

1. Cool. A friend of mine is heading to Florence to do just that.

2. The two photos look so different, even though they share nearly the same viewpoint!

The night scene is more brilliant with all the glittering reflections, while the day scene is quieter, almost drab with the cloudy sky muting the colors.
