Good work, that looks like a mystical place. I can imagine the scent of earth and water, running through the ages. Thank you, for sharing them. They are beautiful.

I grew up in upstate New York. Although I'd heard and read what an intriguing place it is, I never actually went there to hike or sight see. Next time I'm up in New York, Watkins Glen State Park is on my agenda.,

2. The whole Finger Lakes area...

…is delightful. I am lucky enough to own a small second home on Keuka Lake. I inherited it from my parents, who lived in Rochester.

Unfortunately, I live 700 miles away from it, so don’t get there very often. We rent it out to cover the property and school taxes.

12. The bridges and stairs reminded me of Escher's House of Stairs

The Gorge Trail is serpentine, crossing Glen Creek at several points on stone-arch bridges and a suspension bridge which can be seen toward the top of the second photo. Well worth a visit if you're ever in the Northeast.
