(14,559 posts)5. I'm going back tomorrow to get really close. The purple center surrounded by the yellow on the
crepe like petals is a sculpture that needs more attention. I may clip one and take it into my studio to pay it the tribute it deserves. I'll lose the pollinators but the sensous feeling of the purple pistol is worthy of attention all on it's own.
It really is a world of pure imagination . . .
