and not nearly humid enough. We do have toads though.

And if it were AI, how would I know it was necessarily 'to trick me', how is that defined? That'd require knowing the creator's intent which sounds difficult from a distance.

Also it could be not an actual photo of a frog, but not necessarily 'A.I.'. Could be a 'frog' wireframe someone built, then applied textures and lighting shadows to, kinda like how it's done in a video game or Pixar movies.

Also if it started as a regular digital photo but has had various filters applied via photoshop or the like, would it still be a 'real frog' image?

And had filters applied, wherein the filters leverage A.I.-based processing techniques in which case it's like Schrödinger's Frog

....but the fact is that most of the in-situ frog shots i post aren't even high res....i'm using a 20MP lumix G9. but, if they look high res, that's a testament to the micro 4/3 technology.

this one is either real, fake or real fake, tho.

A few months ago there was an AI rendered baby peacock going around FB with colored feathers like adults have.

wouldn't have. I can also see the reflection of your camera and flash diffuser in his eye, another thing I doubt AI would emulate.

The fact that your critters seem surreal not withstanding there are more things in heaven and Earth, Gato, than are dreamt of in your philosophy . . .

There are many exotic looking frogs in reality. Many are in the Amazon.
