Been busy with my iPhone today

I just bought this great dslr and I can't seem to stop snapping photos with my iPhone. I'm starting to think I made a lousy investment in the camera (not really-I managed one decent shot with it today).

(I think the kitties are about to revolt at any moment)

The water drops on the leaf was actually tricky. I couldn't find it with the small window on the phone, so I had to put my finger by it (without hitting it) so I'd know where to focus. Then I had to make sure not to move the friggin' phone so I could tap the button. I like all the options you can get with the Hipstamatic app but it's a bit slow to focus but my, what focus and clarity it has.

I tried to take a picture of the moon this morning, but it was too blurry. I should have gotten my Nikon, but it was in the 20's, so I was in a hurry.

I've never gotten a good moon picture with my iPhone and I've tried. I don't like to take night photos with it anyway 'cause it tends to be super noisy.

It's been cold and wet here in my neighborhood, so I've not been dragging the dslr out anywhere but I've always got my iphone.

I watched my family members shoot with their iphones. As a matter of fact my grandson and I photographed the same building and a few of his iphone shots were so much better, I went back and re-shot a few areas.
