Thinking gila monster? Get a hamster instead.

I guess there is a certain thrill to having a pet that can kill you, but the downside is that you might die. I always understood that being bit by a gila monster was not likely because the fangs are toward the back of the jaws. I hope they find a good home for the monsters.

I don't understand why some people want to keep dangerous animals as pets. SMH.

P.S. Did you mean to post this in a different forum, such as the Pets forum? Just wondering.

It happens to all of us at some point!

You could still post it over there, if you want to. I'm sure it would be of interest!

The police are making arrangements to rehome the monsters at a wildlife park in South Dakota. It makes no sense to kill them because a Gila monster has a smaller brain than Donald Trump, and they're programmed to do three things: bite prey to death, eat that prey and reproduce.

According to wiki.

Coincidentally I was reading about Gila Monsters this week after watching Treasure of the Sierra Madre Sunday night.
Not a way I'd want to go.
