the image size is 8 X 10 inches with a resolution of 72 - so 576 X 720 pixels

I'm guessing it has something to do with the image you chose from your photobucket account

The HTML I'm seeing when I inspect it shows the image link as a thumbnail. Your link has the following: th_1_zps2f5d4f6f.gif indicating it's a thumbnail. If you take off the th_ you get the image below.

I see your problem was resolved by someone more experienced than me.
doesn't look like a thumbnail to me... he looks like a big ole loveable dog
