Have a great day, give Shadow a pet from me.

(6,473 posts)If you crush a bit, it smells like pineapple. Its generally quite a tiny thing and grows in gravelly driveways here in Maine. Its not a garden pest.
Matricaria discoidea, commonly known as pineappleweed, wild chamomile, disc mayweed, and rayless mayweed, is an annual plant native to North America and/or northern Asia, introduced to Europe where it grows as a common herb of fields, gardens, and roadsides. It is in the daisy family Asteraceae.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
