The move begins

I have been putting off scanning a bunch of pictures. I still have a few hundred. Also stuff on photo CD. Not sure how I will read them since I no longer have a CD reader for my computer. I may have to buy a cheap USB one.

Here is a partial of the work to be done. There are at least double the slide boxes and 25-30 plastic binder pages. That should give me something to do this winter..

I had a few CDs from Seattle Film Works that I couldn't read, unknown format or something to that effect

The good thing is that there is no hurry and I can do another cull of images.

The bad news is I found some of my 4X5 transparencies. And now am thinking of perhaps getting another one to replace the Zone 6 sold when I moved permanently.

Mrs. Crank has requested that I take of the better images and have them printed for our new place.
Now the heat is on.

I have pictures taken while walking on the caldera of Kīlauea. The obsidian sheets were spectacular.
