This road is rough .. very rough (like life) .. one of the worst roads that I have ever driven. But there is never any hurry.
Slow down and appreciate the ride. It's something I learned long ago flying big airplanes. Slow down for turbulence (we called it "bump speed" ).
Find beauty in something. Stay healthy, if you can. Share happiness. Enjoy life. Find peace. This is my "revenge tour."

Peace! But it looks like you may have already found it.

(648 posts)I realized I hadn't taken any photos yet of the leaf-turning in my neck of PA, so out I went! Red maple leaves on the cusp of brown, brilliant yellow Lindens, backdrops of deep Evergreens, and just enough sun to make the three golden onion domes of an Orthodox Church shine against the lowering sky.
And one lonely but still beautiful pink rose.

How long is the hike to the top?
