The Fire Lookout "Kitchen" at Sunset

Yes, I am totally off-grid in the fire lookout tower. Yes, that is a 750 watt microwave oven on the right. But I have 3000+ watt-hours available from three solar-charged Goal Zero power stations (with the occasional top-off from a small gasoline generator). It's like being back on the block (a term the Vietnam veterans will certainly recognize).

Power went out yesterday only 3 hours so am looking at Goal Zero. Thanks for the tip! Up here in the Northwoods power outs a lot.
