I can no longer use Imgur for photo posting, because of UK restrictions. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to post photos? Apologies if Ive missed something but this has literally just occurred to me as I read about the December photo contest.

On a computer save the photo you want to post to the desktop.
Go to postimages.org then click on and drag the photo from
the desktop to postimages Choose images box.
(You need not join postimages to use the free service.)
The next screen will say Upload completed! and youll see
your photo. To the right will be a list of links. At Direct link
click on the blue and white icon at the right to copy your
photo.
In the Photography forum on DU, click on Start discussion
and on the next page type in a title for your photo. In the Discussion
text box right-click paste then at the bottom of the page click Post.
Any questions please feel free to ask. Thanks.

(22,884 posts)The canonical post on how to.
I bounce between imgbb.com, which is usually slow, and makes me trim the link, and postimages.org, which slams me with ads on the phone but not the computer (must be the superior ad-blocker, or just Firefox there. )
I post a ton of images, and I would host my own damn photos but I am too cheap to rent time on a server on the net.
FWIW, webp is common, and does not work here. Conversion to jpeg varies. On the phone it's a PITA, so I just take screenshots now and then and upload them to one of the above.
