I'd say this is more than just 'pretty.' It's gorgeous and the water contributes. CaliforniaPeggy Dec 2025 #1

I was thinking of putting this in the photo contest but when I reviewed other entries I saw so many foliage scenes, all really nice, I decided on a different image. But I wanted to post this one anyway just because.

I passed by there a lot this summer and fall so when the colors came out, I was ready with my camera.

There are others but I just moved, again, over this past week so I'm not in editing mode yet. I amsure you can relate.

I moved all my stuff to my new state this summer and then got a place in October only to be at the top of a waiting list less then a week after I moved all my stuff so I quit unpacking and so have been living out of the suitcase basically since April, until now. I took the place with the waiting list, a senior housing place but rather nice for this area. So far, I like it, got here just as the snow was arriving so I managed to just miss that messy situation.

And I am so ready for it. I plan to spend plenty of time unpacking, there's no rush, a lot of it is art. I'm up and functional so it can just enjoy things as I open the boxes. I really don't have anything else to do for a few weeks, totally works for me.

But there were already so many foliage pictures, all good, I thought I'd have a little different subject instead. I have piles, figuratively, of pictures to go through from the last six months. Once I get settled in a little more there will time to dig in and do my edit and archive thing. It's that time of year, try to do that every year.
