Friday Horses -- Today Maddie's life so far (Pt. 1) Plus Around The Farm -- Barn PROGRESS

Laurie's Paint mare Maddie was born in May of 2005 around 2:00 a.m.

Mama Misty took good care of her.

At six months of age.

She was a cool filly.

Seen here with half-sister Kate.

As Maddie grew, she and Laurie worked together in the arena.

They went on lots of trail rides with friends. Sometimes Maddie was in the lead.

Occasionally Mommy gave her a trim.

Maddie liked to roll in the arena. What horse doesn't?

At times she would stand in need of a bath.

Laurie let her pastures grow for grazing. Maddie was okay with that.

The two worked in the obstacle course.

And even more in the arena.

Next week we continue with Pt. 2 of Maddie's life so far.

Around The Farm — Serious progress has been made on Laurie's barn,
due to the combined efforts of Laurie's good friend Karen, professional pole
barn builder Brian and Laurie's ongoing hard work.
Laurie's Barn as it stands today.

The last time we saw Karen was included in this posting —

Her Golden Retrievers were featured at the time. Today we see
how much Karen and Laurie have accomplished since then.

They have been best friends since, well, forever.

They were kidding. Weren't they?

Good Friends Are Priceless. So are their puppy dogs.

On his first workday Brian was met by our official greeter.

He has achieved a great deal on and since that day.

Brian's participation has been a blessing. His workmanship outstanding.

He said this extra work has been a blessing for him. Brian takes pride in
what he does.

We're glad he came along when he did.

You got a new homestead and Maddie gets a new one, too. Everyone is doing well and the new barn looks great and reflects a lot of hard work 😓 Love the pictorial
