I'm taking 5 months. Wish it could be longer, but it is much more time than most women in the U.S. get!

I took 3 months. Worked for the Feds, and most of it was probably regular 'sick' leave, but as its been 25+ years, the details escape my memory.

We finally got the ceiling and walls in the living room painted. Still have the kitchen to go, trim, wall paper, etc., but we'll get to that after our vacation. We'll be leaving for our road trip and ferry rides to Juneau and Sitka next Thursday. After over a month of this remodeling business, I'm SO ready.
