I love spring. And I love the color of the sky in those pics. When the sun is shining but also rain coming in at the same time.

Had to look up the word "bucolic"

They did spend some time in Yolhynia but I guess Germany was more to their liking.

were the ones that boarded ships in Hamburg.

My great Uncle was a composer, teacher, and publisher. My grand father played cello, organ, oud, and mandolin. Both classically trained in Russia.

There are other versions, but this is my favorite. I love her voice.

we have very fond memories of Germany - have traveled back several times - but mostly I miss that 5-DM schnitzel . . . yummo

The scenery where you lived is beautiful as well.
