Spring is mating season!
It wasn't too long ago these critters were on the verge of extinction. In 1990 a few of them were found on a island off the coast of Baja. And then there were more. And more. And more. They are funny to watch. They flop around on the sand and bark and flip sand around. The beach is covered with them. The sign nearby says "Do not feed the squirrels." Okay. whatever.
