A sprint through the woods today, just beat the rain.

Used the lomo filter on all images.






Processed using a high pass filter. I looked at the use of this filter as damaging the image, then using levels, curves, and lomo to cover the damage.

that you told the filter thingy.....I know too little to appreciate that but I know what I really enjoy. I miss the woodlands I roamed from my childhood...these pics are reminders of that sweet time of my life that I especially liked in the springtime when the wildlowers poked up through the woodland floor...much to my delight. It was always like seeing friends I hadn't seen in some time.

I soon started missing the embrace of the hardwood forest of the East. I loaded up my bicycle and headed east back to Kentucky.

5. My woodlands are hardwoods too....hickory, oaks, maples in NW Indiana.

Instead of camping I slept in Motels. I could average 100 miles a day on flat terrain. It took some planning, but it worked out OK.

I hate to say it, OK City. Then there was the roach infestation in Ardmore,OK and the Retro Bates motel near Hudson,MN....and, and, and.....

heating from the sun. I learned that lesson when I flew kites. A lower sun also makes for better photos.
