New lens :D (no real pics here)

So I couldn't help myself, the local store here had a sale on this Pentax lens at $99, reg $150. I've been using a 16 - 45 lens since I got my SLR quite a few years back now. Now that I'm getting a bit better at photography I'm starting to feel the limitations of this lens. I've been wanting to get a longer focal length lens to complement my kit lens for a while now. Well this guy is a 50 - 200 mm f4/4.5 lens, which perfectly extends the range of the other and is roughly about the same quality, a little bit poorer perhaps. Anyway I'm going to be having fun getting used to using this guy and the new opportunities it opens up. I'm also going to have to learn when to switch between the two.

All good things come to those who wait, or so I'm told.

50-200 mm is a very useful spread.

Have fun!

The real truth is I can't really justify spending the money right now. No job and in between semesters at school. But I have some money tucked away from those years working at 7-11 (shhh ), though that's meant to be for school, so I can afford some little spending here and there. Besides I don't have any expenses right now and this is getting to be a serious hobby of mine.

and don't do the buyer's remorse thing. We all have to have a little treat once in awhile. Go take some pics, you will feel much better about your purchase.
