(1,254 posts)So many stunning and beautiful areas. The coastline, mountains that border with CA up to the spectacular Columbia River Gorge bordering with Washington. And don't forget the "River Wild" Rogue River and the elk reserves down by Reedsport. Miss it.

(5,376 posts)I've lived half my life (so far) in Oregon, raised my family here, have been to every part of the state and it's all gorgeous and breath taking. Even the remote and wild SE corner, with the Steens Mountain, the Alvord Desert, French Glen...spectacular. Of course, the coast is amazing, with every mile open to the public. Quite a state is Oregon My Oregon--She Flies with Her Own Wings. Hope you can make it back some day!
Oh, and we have vote by mail. Just thought I'd throw that in!
