what looked like it might not be a memorable sunset suddenly turned into an explosion of color. This particular beach (Sarasota) has extremely fine sand and retreating water turns the ocean's edge into a mirror of the sky.

at Lido Beach.
My oldest and dearest friends live there, and every time I have enough frequent flyer miles I go and visit.
I think Sarasota is beautiful. I love the Botanical Gardens there especially and of course the Ringling Museum.
