Guess the city!! (abstract, metaphor)

These are my vacation photos from a city that I visited recently. I only took regular snapshot type photos, but I decided to turn a few photos from the trip into the November contest theme, by a lot of cropping and some editing. I never take abstract or metaphorical photos, and don't have any time right now to do new photos, but I did take the time to do this editing. Can you guess the city?

LOL, some of these I know aren't very good, but I wanted to put enough clues in here. If you know the city, guess exactly what all these are if you want. (one per person until they are all known).

2. A pier, don't know location
3. Wayne Thiebaud art, possibly Gherardelli Square
4. 5, 6 don't know
7. That lovely cable car.

Oops, you said anyone else, but since my guesses are so vague, Imma gone leave it.

I knew I had given enough clues for most people to pick up on at least one of them!

It was not a photo taking trip and I didn't have time for doing any kind of formal photography, at all. The second one was snapped from a moving bus, for example, as was Horror!

I think the Streetcar is my fave!

I was just kind of screwing around because I was not really loving my mundane tourist photos! I didn't have time for much else though--it was a quick trip.

Timeless is a redwood tree from Muir Woods.

and looked at these a few times. They are in my opinion really fun bits of work, with the streetcar and decadence being my very favorites.
I think I did not comment earlier because I was not recognizing San Francisco. Time for me to go back. It's been a long while.
Great images and manipulations, hope you will put one in the contest.
LOVE the two I mentioned.
