that you are plunging in and participating and staying at it. Your entry is lovely to me, I especially love the road's dips and curves.

and am actually on the road now, visited family in Ohio, and taking scenic route back to MD. Check out my posts in Ohio group, and will add more in Travel later.

I too was pleased with the dogwoods blooming on the road to my cottage, and as infrequently traveled, was able to stop for a few pics.

15. I've never entered before.

I've had a digital camera for years, but have only taken stupid cat pics & family stuff. I recently started hiking & take my camera with me. My pics aren't as good as ProTrails, but maybe someday.

16. How much I remember the tentative and nervous emotions

of the first photo I ever submitted here! I know which it was, it was in a Seasonal contest of "Autumn" - long ago.
I am proud of you to take that step, and I find your photograph pastoral and very pleasing. Love the lines in it as well as the colors and that distinctive diagonal.

21. Hey, what's stupid about cat pics?????

I have a ton of them. Because I love my cat!

This is the second time that I have entered myself. I am intimidated by all the incredible photos that others can create, but I figure I should occasionally get in on the fun anyways. Some subjects, I just can't be creative enough---but spring? Sure.

I enter the color version of a photo that was entered in another contest in black and white?

It's an idiosyncrasy of mine, maybe, but I think a photo that has been in a contest has had its run, even if it is now in color.
