An amazing cake

I didn't take this picture obviously, but this is the kind of work that my friend Emilie, the cupcake girl and subject of my portraits, does. Good job! Tree rings and everything.

I saw photos last nice as she was assembling it.

They had to drive it up to Arctic Valley which is a ski area east of Anchorage in the mountains. That must have been nerve-wracking.
