(22,756 posts)I believe I have an eye for aesthetics and I have one of the best cameras around... but I have no skill with it...
it feels like I will never learn how to properly use my camera
I guess I'm just one of those suited to the ole P&S

Both great for the contest! I had such a hard time chosing because lines are all I see. Must be hot a shades in Florida.
I would be there myself had my mother lived......
that makes me sad........

(149,531 posts)I know you are sad
last month my mom died, I had no relationship with mine
but I think I understand the void left by losing yours
in remembrance of all your past stories... I have a great pool just outside my door here and I am in it everyday

(22,380 posts)So very sorry!
Enjoy your time in the South, Mom loved water, anytime, anywhere, and was passionate about the deep South.
Two photos just for you

(149,531 posts)Both of your pictures are wonderful! The trees are ramrod straight, and the zebra is organically not. I think I would use the zebra too, for the contest. It's great.
