One of the best I've ever seen on any beach. Took quite a few shots as the sky was changing colors, but these three show the progression pretty well.

That's the Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier in the shots.
It's very much right wing Republican country. We didn't see one--not one--Kay Hagan sign
after we got off 40 coming 24 to the coast. We drove through Jacksonville--past the main
gate of Camp Lejeune. It's very different from where we live in Chapel Hill, which
is in one of the most liberal counties of NC.
