Fireworks

We're in the middle of our annual Fur Rendezvous winter festival. Not too much winter going on here, no sprint dogsled races, but we still got the fireworks. These are a little fuzzy because of the freezing drizzle, but I still kind of like them.

I like the slightly fuzzy texture too, and the colors are wonderful...

Well done!

Along with what others have admired I also like the sense of the smoke drifting in the sky. These are very nice.

Looks cold out there.

and focused on all the city lights before the show started. (Really - they're as focused as they could be under the conditions.). I used ISO 100, f/8 I think, automatic white balance, and BULB. This was different than my former guesses on fireworks.

The spot I was shooting from is probably a mile from where they were being shot off - I used the 70-200 lens at probably 150 mm or so.
