A snapshot of the oldest church in Costa Rica

Huge old tree

and another

100 year old Don Pedro - taken with permission by him - lying in bed in a corner room on the farm he lives on with his family. He has never ever left the farm to set foot elsewhere in his entire life

throwing in a little color

a cat taking a NAP

can you hear Peter Sellers saying it?

I liked this animal, it belongs to Don Pedro

I want to hear more about Don Pedro. Does he speak English? Do you speak Spanish? This is such a wonderful mix of photos I can't single one out. But the wrinkles in that animal are just amazing! The church is gorgeous.

Now I want to go to Costa Rica AND Belize.

for all of these.

Thanks for posting!

I'll post a few more about Don Pedro's farm, since you asked.

You cannot even imagine the number of photos I have and the impressions I'm incorporating into my being. I don't know where to start.
That's why I was just stabbing at it.

that's the name Costa Rican's give themselves, with pride and mutual love. It comes from a diminutive ending they often put on words.

The perspective and the glare make a truly inspired image. I would hang that shot.

... there are many of us who consider Don Pedro a lucky man. My family always spoke fondly of my great grandfather, who never left his farm in western Wisconsin.

The bovine shot is classic.

Please explain the Peter Sellers reference. It blew over my head.
