When visiting family in Maryland, we had to cross the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. I used to sit in the back seat on the floor...

Looks like a lovely area. My uncle and his family lived in Bowie because my uncle worked in DC.

I was lucky to find a great place to rent, at the river, so I'm close to nature. Ends up, that's where I want to be. And my daughter lives nearby, with her baby (in the pic,) so things are good. (I worked and lived in DC for 20+ years.)
