have a shower handy and i am all over that. oh.... and no black bears. that is very pretty.

arkansas. hm. i have to think outside the box. i am looking for somewhere this summer with good fishing for the guys, pretty, coolish (lol, summer). i a looking at twin lake in co. but generally stay with NM or CO.

edit... i got thrown into photo, lol. thought i was in lounge. ah ha. funny. to me anyway

The bathrooms were clean, and even heated. The best part was we had the entire campsite to ourselves. I was pretty impressed by the quality of the state campground in AR, or at least that particular one. I've never seen any so good in Texas.

The park has a nice little airport and I flew in. Flying into the park you get an interesting perspective of the topography of the park. The mountain is really a plateau that overlooks the Arkansas river that wraps around it.
